The late Bob Finkbine was an educator, poet, thespian and outspoken, oft-irreverent political voice. He was also an avid river runner who worked many summers in his second career as a Colorado River guide and oarsman. His love of the Grand Canyon fills this, his first self-published book, Smoke That Roars (Atwell Publishing), as well as several books of poetry including Scattered Shards and Not for Sale.
