JamPak Blues ‘n Grass Neighborhood Band (501c3)

An amazing grassroots project teaching a wonderful cross-section of kids how to play musical instruments and preserve traditional bluegrass and folk music. Led by award-winning Anni Beach, who grew this organization from scratch with little more than her Social Security check for funding.

Phoenix Center for the Arts (501c3)

This community gathering place offers an impressive array of arts, drama, dance and music classes for everyday kids and citizens. Located in downtown Phoenix at the eastern end of Margaret Hance Park – aka “the deck park” – Phoenix Center for the Arts has long celebrated creativity and diversity, and it’s now taking its mission to a new level with a program called “Arts for a Change.”

Cultural Coalition (501c3)

Dive deep into the rich traditions of the Southwest. Cultural Coalition has grown some great programs around our Native American and Mexican cultural traditions, including annual events like their awesome Dia de los Muertos festival. Carmen and Zarco Guerrero – lifelong leaders in the vanguard of Arizona indigenous art appreciation – built this excellent nonprofit from the ground up with their blood, sweat and tears.
